A Real Connection Is Where We Begin
I’m Sara, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada and the therapist behind Inner Compass Therapy. My style is warm, direct, and down-to-earth, with room for honest conversations, thoughtful questions, and humor when it feels right. You don’t need to know exactly what to say or worry about saying it perfectly. We’ll take time to get to know each other, and I welcome your questions and feedback as we figure out what feels helpful to you.
Ways We Can Work Together
Individual Therapy
Time to focus on yourself, work through difficult experiences, and explore changes you want to make in your life.
Support for Teens
A place for teens to talk openly, make sense of their experiences, and develop ways to handle the pressures of growing up.
Couples Therapy
Support for understanding each other, working through conflict, and changing patterns that leave you feeling disconnected.
Support for what you’re navigating
-
Constant worry, second-guessing, and feeling unable to switch off can take up more of your life than you want them to. Together, we can explore what keeps those worries going and practice ways to handle uncertainty, ease the pressure to get everything right, and make decisions with greater confidence.
-
You may be struggling to express your needs, manage conflict, or understand patterns that keep showing up with other people. Therapy can help you recognize when you’re putting yourself last, work through the guilt that can come with saying no, and build relationships where your needs have a place, too.
-
Changes in relationships, work, health, or family life can leave you questioning what comes next and what you want for yourself. We can make room for the mixed emotions that come with change while helping you sort through expectations, reconnect with your priorities, and take your next steps without needing every answer.
-
You may be tired of measuring yourself against expectations, looking for reassurance, or feeling like what you do is never quite enough. Together, we can explore where those standards came from and help you respond to yourself with more compassion, recognize your strengths, and trust your judgment even when others disagree.
These are some of the areas I work with, but they aren’t the whole picture. I have experience supporting a range of mental health concerns, and you’re welcome to reach out to explore whether we might be a good fit.
Why Inner Compass?
There’s always more to someone’s story than what we see on the surface.
The ways we cope, respond, protect ourselves, and relate to others often develop for a reason. Instead of starting from a place of judgment or asking what is “wrong,” I want to understand what you have experienced, what you have learned along the way, and what you may need now.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of those patterns, and begin responding to yourself with more understanding and choice. My goal is not to tell you who you should be or which direction you should take, but to help you reconnect with yourself enough to feel more grounded in your own decisions.
